BEL LAGO RED
Notes from the Winemakers
As intricate as the composition itself, this red blend’s vivid berry and rich oak aromas complement its complex character. Pomegranate, blackberry, red currant and black cherry fruit mingle with notes of coconut, dark chocolate and spice from French and American oak. Supported by a Cabernet Franc foundation, this wine contains more than two‐dozen varieties that include Merlot, Lemberger and hybrid grapes like Marquette. Aged in barrels for at least 18 months, Bel Lago Red is smooth and fruit‐forward with an earthy, oak radiance.
Production Notes
Each wine included in this blend is fermented on the skins for several weeks before pressing. All of the wines have completed malolactic fermentation and are aged in French and American oak barrels for at least 18 months and as long as several years.
